What we need from you
Knowledge - completion of a degree or certificate in culinary arts, and two years of experience as a chef, pastry chef, baker or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and culinary/kitchen operations experience with specialized training in pastry.
Strength & Fitness - you will be moving about frequently carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds, handling food, objects, products and utensils; all while frequently bending, stooping, kneeling
Communication skills - both written and verbal - are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and coworkers.
Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when preparing meals from a recipe, when assisting in the scheduling of the kitchen staff, or when monitoring inventory.
Mathematical skills, including basic math, percentages, quantities, and variances are used frequently.
Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities are used often.
Flexibility - working in events and in a fine dining setting, you will work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
What you can expect from us
The hourly pay range for this role is $24.255 to $32.34.
