Sales Administrative Assistant Job Description
IDI Distributors is searching for a detail-oriented and energetic Sales Administrative Assistant to join our Corporate team! As a Sales Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service and administrative support to the sales team and corporate departments as needed. This position will play a key role in supporting the equipment, parts, accessories and Corporate outside sales teams by assisting in order processing, process problem solving, customer communication and schedule coordination. Duties include but are not limited to:
Equipment, Accessories and Parts Sales Administrative Tasks:
Receive and complete orders of equipment, accessories and parts
Manage and coordinate every step of the order processing including but not limited to assisting customers with the process of soliciting finance, equipment ownership process, and delivery of product.
Maintaining equipment sales Records including DMV documents
Serve as a liaison between customers and vendors
Work efficiently and collaboratively with all company departments to finalize equipment sales
Provide customer with equipment training information and follow-up
Submit equipment warranty claims
Sales Administrative Tasks:
Work with sales in CRM set up and lead generation data base
Assist in the submittal of Account Adjustment and Pricing Request Forms
Assist in coordinating new sales hire training process including but not limited to: new sales hire list, training travel itinerary coordination, training material disbursement and training meeting coordination
Assist in the creation of flyers to promote products and special pricing as needed
Send promotions via email or mailings as needed
Backup Reception as needed
Sales Administrative Assistant Job Qualifications
Strong computer skills, proficiency using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent customer service skills
Project management and/or process and logistic coordination skills a must
Strong attention to detail, organization and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Ability to handle multiple and overlapping tasks
Ability to work independently and report progress
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
Education and/or Experience:
Associates degree in Business or related field
At least 2 years' experience within a customer service field or equivalent work experience
Experience with CRM software a plus
Building materials industry a plus
