JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Penn State College of Nursing, Center for Nursing Research, is seeking part-time Research Assistants/Evaluators in the Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, and surrounding five-counties area.

Responsibilities include:

  • Rcruiting and enrolling study participants

  • Collecting data

  • Utilizing Redcap and other data management programs

  • Maintaining data on recruitment, enrollment, and attrition

  • Participating in team meetings

The study focuses on functional recovery of hospitalized persons with dementia. The study location is Philadelphia area and suburban hospitals, and follow-up in patients' homes. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The department of Recreation, Park and Tourism Management in the College of Health and Human Development is seeking applications for a Part-Time Research Assistant. The succesful candidate will be tasked with assisting Dr. Jen Agans with research tasks that will include data collection for an online study and management of a physical activity study taking place in State College PA. Both data collection projects will include interaction with study participants, including screening for eligibility and distributing incentives. The employee in this role will also need to interface with community partners to support both studies. All work will be done virtually.
