This position will provide administrative support to the Instructional Media and Technology manager and other managers within the division. This position will be responsible for arranging all aspects of meetings, assisting in the hiring process, documenting meeting minutes, booking travel, providing financial assistance, and some high level software testing and documentation. This person will manage communications across teams and external customers.

Performing office support functions (e.g. scheduling interviews, arranging meetings and logistics, documenting meeting minutes, booking travel, creating itineraries, etc.).

The associate will help write and manage Zendesk's daily posts in all major social channels, respond to inquiries and comments from the Zendesk handle, and—via his/her own social profiles (or ones set up specifically for professional purposes)—participate as an ambassador of Zendesk in online communities and groups of customer experience professionals where Zendesk customers and prospective buyers are engaged. Our ideal candidate has experience using Zendesk, creating social media content, and working in customer service; possesses great attention to detail, next-level multitasking capabilities, sharp writing skills, and a keen sense of humor; and thrives in an environment that values creativity, flexibility, and diplomacy. What you'll do every day: * Support the development and execution of social media campaigns * Write social posts for @Zendesk, @ZendeskRelate, and for employee sharing * Work closely with fellow social media team members, marketers, and other teams throughout the company to promote our content and brand * Engage as one of Zendesk's emissaries on social channels, acting as a helpful resource, being a voice of encouragement, and ensuring a positive interaction * Use your own social handles to monitor and participate in online conversations on social channels and community sites as an ambassador of Zendesk * Actively engage with customers, influencers, and the broader community and include Zendesk content or messaging when doing so adds value to the discussion and its participants * Assist customers and prospects with questions about Zendesk in channels not officially monitored by Zendesk Advocates and help them get to the right content or support channel * Track, measure, and analyze how social content and community campaigns are performing; and regularly update colleagues and management What you'll bring to the role: * A passion for social media (especially Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Instagram) * An understanding of what works on each channel and how to best represent Zendesk on each while staying true to our brand * A track record of successfully executing social media initiatives that drive sharing and engagement * Demonstrated expertise in activating and engaging community groups to foster dialogue and answer questions * Excellent written and editorial skills and experience writing for external corporate communications channels * Experience with social media for technology companies and/or B2B brands is highly desired, as well as an active social presence on at least two of the major social networks * Experience using Zendesk and working in customer service * Knowledge of Sprout Social, Google Analytics, Simply Measured, and/or other social media monitoring and analytic tools is a plus * Great people skills: experience working with various cross-functional groups (internal and external) * A thick skin: willingness to absorb and act on input from all levels to improve the output and get better results * 3-5 years of professional experience, with a combination of social media and customer service experience in a business environment * B.A./B.S. degree The best customer experiences are built with Zendesk.
