We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Events & Employee Engagement Coordinator to join our Electromagnetic Systems (EMS) Group located in Rancho Bernardo, CA.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will help plan, manage and execute various activities, including quarterly executive meetings, quarterly company-wide all-hands meetings, quarterly employee recognition events, monthly group events, employee engagement opportunities within the community, special employee events, and large annual events.
Assist in administering online employee-to-employee recognition program.
Help Events & Employee Engagement Lead with the coordination of STEM outreach program; where employees perform educational activities in K-12 classrooms.
Take photographs as needed.
Gathers, collects, records, tracks, verifies data and information from multiple sources.
Maintains and updates a variety of confidential and sensitive electronic and/or hard copy reports and records.
Prepares requested electronic and hard copy material for meetings and events.
May respond to routine requests for information from internal sources.
Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Must demonstrate a basic understanding of assigned functional area principles, theories and concepts.
US Citizenship is required.
Previous experience in event planning and employee engagement highly preferred.
Must be detail-oriented, well organized and flexible.
Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally to a wide audience is required.
Must be able to juggle multiple tasks from various sources to meet the needs of employees and executives, and to organize a successful event.
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends.
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 25 lbs. is required.
Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Must possess: (1) the ability to grasp new concepts quickly; (2) the ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information; (3) the ability to identify issues
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment is essential, as is the ability to work extended hours as required.
