Position Summary:

The PT Coordinator I, Extended Learning Center provides oversight and facilitation of day-to-day operations within the Extended Learning Center, participating in planning, development, evaluation and improvement. Assists with ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Responsible for coordination of support functions such as scheduling, communications, workflows, supplies, information processing, and staff support. May be responsible for coordinating budget planning process and for tracking and coordinating budget expenditures. Makes and communicates process decisions based on best practices.

Job Functions:

  • Assist with daily operations of the Extended Learning Center

  • Act as general point of contact within the Extended Learning Center

  • Enter, track and maintain a variety of data, including documents, spreadsheets and databases

  • Create and submit a variety of reports related to assigned department. Performs research and analysis to assist with preparation and presentation of findings

  • May assist with maintaining compliance of processes and documentation

  • Assist with training and monitoring of department staff, schedule and prioritize work activities and organize training materials

  • Assist with evaluation of programs, make recommendations for revisions to processes and procedures, with a focus on continuous departmental process improvement, assists with development of new programs

  • Coordinate and manage various department and management calendars and schedules, assists in planning, schedules and coordinate various meetings/seminars/events, including site selection and preparation, marketing and training materials, and general support

  • Take part in and/or lead special projects as needed

  • Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned

Physical Abilities:

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

Salary:

$14.42/per hour

Work Schedule & Conditions:

  • Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general office equipment

  • Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position

  • Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards
