OverviewAre you looking to be a leader while still working with Individuals with Mental Health Challenges? Then The Bridge is the agency for you! Anew 6 bed mobile respite and site based respite program is opening. It will be located in Gardner, Ma. In addition to providing on site mobile respite services, the program will also work with individuals in the community providing short term support services. These services are meant to identify and asses the immediate needs of the individuals referred by DMH, and provide short term support in achieving their more immediate needs. The Bridge is seeking qualified clinicians for a part-time 20 hour position at the North County Respite Program. ResponsibilitiesOversight of all clinical components of respite programming under the supervision of the Division Director.
Provide clinical services to program residents, which may include individual, family, and group therapy.
Coordination of resident treatment with counselors, therapists, teachers or other service providers.
Coordination with agencies, including treatment planning, case conferences, and exchange of information.
Coordination and supervision of relevant program intern placements.
To provide skill building, education and parent training.
To assist the Outreach Worker with acquiring entitlements and securing benefits for individuals and families.
Assist in coordination of monthly training program.
Participation in program leadership team.
Physical management of residents at risk.
Division Director will provide regular program supervision.
Any additional relevant and related responsibilities assigned by the Division Director.
To participate in supervision with Division Director as scheduled.
Clinical supervision of this position will be provided by The Bridge's senior clinician.
To participate in scheduled staff and individual and family meetings.
To participate in required in-service training.
To assist in the development and accomplishment of the goals and objectives of the program QA plan.
To provide 24 hour crisis intervention with the ability to intervene decisively when necessary to protect family members from one and other.
On call rotation as assigned. ___________________________________ QualificationsMaster's degree required, LCSW/LMHC plus two years post-masters preferred. Expertise in mental health treatment of seriously emotionally disturbed children/adolescents, young adults and their families, including knowledge of substance abuse and dual diagnosis treatment. The position requires an ability to work effectively with many agencies, such as Department of Social Services, Department of Mental Health, and the educational facilities.
