Job Summary:

Guides and supervises the provision of evidence-based mental health services and programs for children with autism spectrum disorders and/or similar developmental disabilities in response to physician recommendations in home, school and/or other natural settings. Provides training, leadership and mentorship to a team of program supervisors.

What you will be doing

  • Provide quality support for Program Supervisors through leadership and clinical development trainings.

  • Conduct behavioral assessments, functional assessments, and functional analyses.

  • Develop behavior support and intervention plans.

  • Provide parent training and support for the whole family system.

  • Updating programs and observing data through Central Reach

Our campus is a freestanding 61-bed facility offering short-term psychiatric care for children, adolescents and adults. We also offer partial hospitalization programs for adults. We're looking for someone to join our team as a Mental Health Assistant who: Works with nursing team, under the direct supervision of a registered nurse (RN), assisting with therapeutic interventions with patients exhibiting significant disturbances in emotional, cognitive and physical behaviors. Provides comprehensive patient centered care and implements psychosocial interventions. Helps with basic activities of daily living (ADLs). Essential Functions: * Assists with bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, ambulating, transferring, elimination needs and therapeutic program participation of psychiatric patients. * Assists in maintaining program functions including meal supervision and patient safety checks. * Assists in structured therapeutic activities and supportive interactions with patients. * Participates in developing plans for meeting the daily care needs of patients as determined by the care plan. * Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
