This job serves as both a clinical and administrative resource for all APPs. This role will (be to maintain a clinical practice in addition to) include designing and implementing development programs, compensation systems, leadership infrastructure, quality programs and other resources for APPs. Serves as an advisor to company leadership on all matters involving the APPs; and will act as the dyad partner to the Medical Director APPs and will work closely with the system APP Leads.

Must be fully licensed and credentialed as outlined by the Medical Staff Office of the company
Current NCCPA certification is required for Physician Assistants and must be eligible for state Prescriptive Authority as outlined by the State Board of Medical Examiners in the state of practice
Current State License is required Advanced Practice Nurses and must be eligible for state Prescriptive Authority as outlined by the State Board of Nursing in the state practice
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Knowledge of Advanced Practice Provider reimbursement regulations and standards, as well as, documentation and collaboration/supervision requirements.
Knowledge of Advanced Practice Provider accreditation standards and Federal and State medical licensure and registration requirements.
Knowledge of Federal and State regulations pertaining to the clinical practice of primary categories of Advanced Practice Providers.
Understanding of operational, documentation, and reimbursement requirements of Advanced Practice Providers in diverse clinical settings.
Knowledge of Advanced Practice Provider educational requirements and associated program requirements (i.e. collaborative agreement, rotation requirements, policies and procedures).
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in a positive manner with system-wide executive leadership, Advanced Practice Providers, physicians and departmental management.
Skilled at negotiations and reaching settlements in disputes.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, complete multiple tasks in a limited period of time and handle large volumes of paperwork efficiently.
Ability to recognize major issues confronting the health care industry relative to the ongoing continuing education of Advanced Practice Clinicians.
Strong technical, analytical, and judgment skills to interpret regulations and supervise staff.
Ensures quality of care & patient satisfaction through oversight of policies, procedures, and improvement initiatives
Manages, develops, retains and inspires an engaged workforce
Assists in the design and development of research, education & training to support cutting edge patient care and services
Ensures operational profitability through effective budgeting and resource management
Assists in the development and execution of long-term strategic plans that support growth
Assists in formulating an effective plan of care for patients
