Parts Specialist

We are a family owned business serving those who protect us all for over 50 years! We are looking for a dynamic Parts Specialist with a positive can-do attitude to join our Churchville truck shop.

This position contributes to the success of a busy, fast paced truck shop, by providing support to the Service Manager, technicians and customers.

What you'll be doing:

Promptly greet all customers, in person or by phone, internal and retail customers. Process parts and accessories orders as quickly as possible. Assist in inventory control, including ordering, receiving, stocking and sales tracking. Pick-up and delivery of parts when necessary to meet customer service standards.

• Receive and process parts requisitions for Truck Shop Manager and Technicians.
• Receive and process customer phone and walk-in parts orders

• Prepare parts price quotations

• Process customer returns and returns to vendors

• Maintain inventory stock levels

• Assist with periodic physical inventory

• Coordinate pickups and deliveries, make the completion of parts delivery, within time quoted, a priority

•Ensure and maintain profitability of the Parts Department through the sale of parts and accessories
•Manage Warranty Processing in accordance with Pierce Policy
•Maintain an active inventory that is within the financial guidelines established by management

•Resolve customer complaints

•Research parts pricing as needed

•Post repair order in accordance with established procedures

•Daily data entry of parts, supplies, labor and outside vendor repairs on repair order

•Route original of vendor invoices promptly to Accounts Payable, being sure to note repair order number

•Route completed repair orders for invoicing daily, upon completion

Requirements

• Our ideal candidate will be experienced, highly organized, computer savvy, self-motivated, and have a clean driving record.
• Experience maintaining inventory
• Shipping/Receiving experience a plus
• Excellent communication skills and customer service experience required
• Prior truck parts or heavy truck mechanical experience required

Hours are Monday - Friday 7:30-4:00

Starting at $20-26/hr DOE
