Parts Specialist

Under direct supervision, the Parts Specialist assists in the, purchasing, receipt, storage, accounting for and compilation of orders for tools, parts, equipment, and supplies in Casey's maintenance parts storage areas. This position is responsible for filing and maintaining warranty claims with dealers/vendors.

• Enters inventory data and verifies the delivery of items by the receiving department; checks against purchase order to ensure proper quantity and quality.

• Coordinates and administers in-house warranty program. Ensures that Casey's is credited back for claims filed, credits the proper vehicles back the credit it is due.

• Labels and places inventory in correct storage or bin area.

• Picks up parts from assigned vendor locations.

• Serves as point of contact to takes orders for part/supplies as well as package and ships parts/supplies to outlying vehicles, terminals, and DC's.

• Performs proper maintenance and cleaning of stored items and the storage area.
