Ahern Rentals is looking for a Parts Clerk in the San Jose, CA area to unload deliveries and manage inventory levels through transfers and part requests. The Parts Clerk assists customers face to face & over the phone. This position must be able to understand customers needs & make suggestions based upon our inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Unload delivery truck to receive and stock inventory
Request parts and supplies from internal and external sources
Maintain appropriate inventory levels & remove out of code products
Provide superior customer service, in person & over the telephone
Respond quickly & accurately to part requests from shop personnel
Maintain accurate files & log books
Maintain a clean & orderly work area
Other duties, as assigned by Management

1 year auto parts experience
Must be able to operate a forklift, certification or previous experience a plus
Must be computer literate
Previous rental experience a plus
Must be able to read, write & speak English
Must be able to pass drug test & background check
Must be able to provide Motor Vehicle Record at time of job offer (current within 15 days)
