As the Parts Procurement Clerk you will achieves sales goals and administers order management processes for repair parts. You will also identify customer needs and resolves parts or equipment issues with the sale and timely delivery of quality parts and solution offerings. You will report to the Fulfillment Leader.


  • Identify customer issues and offering timely and quality solutions

  • Ensure that problems relating to delivery, quality or pricing are promptly conveyed to the supplier and resolved in a timely manner

  • Process orders received from service & installation teams

  • Create, maintain, update, and reconcile purchase orders

  • Follows purchase order company policies & procedures

  • Support orders in inventory, purchasing, pricing, and warranty administration processes

  • Review invoices for purchased commodities as required by accounts payable

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned


  • High School Diploma

  • 1+ years of related experience

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple, competing priorities/task in a fast-paced work environment

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong organizational, time management skills

  • Flexibility to work outside normal working hours, as required

  • Working knowledge of basic refrigeration and/or knowledge of commercial refrigeration and HVAC is preferred

  • Ability to deal with customers

  • High level of professionalism and diplomacy

Proficiency in communication, both orally and verbally is essential. Will also perform various receiving, shipping, and inventory functions. Must be able to perform duties via manual documents or computerized devices in accordance with established operational and inventory control procedures. All associates will receive training to ensure mastery of specific skill sets with an emphasis on Safety, Accuracy, and Productivity.</p><p>Essential Responsibilities:</p><p>1.Efficient and accurate accounting and auditing of merchandise receipts from external sources.</p><p>2.Strict adherence to operational procedures, best practices and inventory control procedures to prevent inventory shrinkage.</p><p>3.Exceed customer's expectations through proper use of internal reports, procedures and systems.</p><p>4.Support management team by scheduling tasks as assigned, reports, and achieve assigned deadlines.</p><p>5.Ability to proficiently navigate within Island Pacific Merchandising and Warehouse System Software.</p><p>6.Properly package all outbound shipments to Vendor and/or Customers.</p><p>7.Comprehensive understanding of required hardware and software necessary to complete responsibilities.</p><p>8.Ability to meet or exceed established production goals.</p><p>9.Assist with training new hires and other duties as assigned by supervisor.</p><br><ol start="10"><br><li><p>Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations and overall facility.</p></li><li><p>Adherence to established safety rules and company policies.</p></li><li><p>Practice and comply with all regulations promoting a safe and healthy work place environment.</p></li><br></ol><p>Education:</p><ul><li>High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred</li></ul><p>Experience &amp; Background:</p><ul><li><p>One (1) to three (3) years of related distribution experience</p></li><li><p>Experience and sound proficiency with Island Pacific Merchandising and Warehousing System.</p></li><li><p>Mastery and proficiency in use of personal computer and calculator.</p></li><li><p>Mastery and proficiency in use of computerized scanning and printing devices.</p></li><li><p>Working knowledge of basic warehousing duties and inventory control procedures.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge and comprehension of established best practices.</p></li><li><p>Excellent working knowledge of individual productivity measurement processes.</p></li></ul><p>Language Skills:</p><ul><li>Ability to read English in order to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.</li></ul><p>Mathematical Skills:</p><ul><li>General mathematical skills to include basic adding, subtracting, multiplication and division</li></ul><p>Reasoning Ability</p><ul><li><p>Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions</p></li><li><p>General problem solving abilities</p></li><li><p>Exhibit sound and accurate judgment and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness</p></li></ul><p>Visionworks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
