Parts Manager (Leader)

Objective

The Parts Leader will lead all facets of the warehouse/parts activities at a given store location.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating work in the Parts Department

• Training parts employees

• Advising customers on products, updates and Company policies, procedures and programs

• Entering customer and shop orders

• Managing shipping and receiving activities

• Planning route shipments

• Working with remanufactured parts and its programs

• Accepting and processing any parts returns

• Picking and packing orders

• Operating warehouse equipment (hose machine, forklifts)

• Maintaining a clean working area per Michigan CAT policies

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• Previous leadership or management background

• Strong customer support and communication skills to work face to face with customers and internal staff

• Experience training employees

• Familiarity with CAT SIS

• Previous experience working in a parts department

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
