POSITION PURPOSE:

The Parts e-Commerce Lead oversees and manages the Parts Operation Center centralized email box (parts.support@briggsequipment.com) and distributes incoming requests for parts to the proper channels. Partners with fellow Team Members to provide timely completion of all requests. Ensures all Briggs Equipment standards are adhered to and executed consistent with company direction.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Manage the department's centralized email / fax box (parts.support@briggsequipment.com) to include filtering non-parts related requests and directing to the appropriate location

  • Identify and gather all required information to include serial number, model number, shipping instructions, etc. from internal / external customers and Field Operations to ensure efficient order processing

  • Maintain accurate records of quotes /order requests based on the type of equipment and level of urgency

  • Utilize Team Members to ensure proper support of electronic workload and realign resources as needed to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Provide training to Team Members based on performance standards to ensure the acceptable efficiency and productivity of Team Members

  • Assist Parts Research Analysts (PRAs) with basic questions and escalate to leadership as needed

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

minimum qualifications

Basic Knowledge & Competencies:

  • Excellent Customer Service and multi-tasking skills

  • Strong attention to detail and deadlines

  • Financial focus, including cognitive skills, problem analysis, analytical decision making and quantitative analysis

  • Ability to assess workload patterns and adjust accordingly

  • Ability to proactively work with internal customers and vendor warranty departments

  • Demonstrated Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

Previous Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • 3+ years' experience in roles with increasing responsibility preferred

  • 1+ years' experience as a Briggs Equipment Parts Research Analyst preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Requirements are of a normal office environment

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
