Parts Specialist main responsibility is providing parts and inventory support for the Technicians, Managers, and office staff; to help ensure customers receive timely service.
Parts Specialist duties include taking calls from technicians, managers, office staff, vendors, and occasionally customers looking for part support. Parts Specialist must also be able to analyze many variables and choose the most effective course of action given the situation.
Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressure. Must relate and interact with co-workers, customers, and factory personnel. The fast-paced Industry can produce some stressful situations, we expect professionalism at all times.
Receiving shipments and verifying proper items and quantities
Gathering all needed material and parts for jobs
Ordering stock for branch and vans
Inventory of main warehouse and assisting technicians with van inventory
Reconcile receipts with POs
Helping technicians with over stock items
Transferring items to and from van warehouses
Returning unneeded parts to vendors
Returning warranty or defective parts to vendors
Developing and maintaining vendor relations
Checking order status with vendors
High School diploma or GED
Analytical individual with the ability to draw logical conclusions and problem solve
Provide accurate and quality work
Ability to work independently or as a team player.
Dependability is a must
