  • Servicing Shelby County Schools The Parts Clerk is responsible for the receipt, verification, labeling, storage, documentation, and security of all supplies in the Parts Room.     Parts Clerk major responsibilities: Stock all parts Conduct price and quality survey Provide counter service Maintain a clean and orderly parts room Ensure accuracy and reliability of data entered into the computer Maintain files and records, providing reports as necessary Order special (non-stock) parts for repair orders, following order policies and procedures Manages the returns of cores and parts Monitor re-order levels and replenish inventory in order to maintain proper inventory levels Complete all other assigned duties. Parts Clerk requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent; Technical training preferred Previous vehicle parts room and inventory experience required Excellent communication and administrative skills Strong attention to detail ASE certifications preferred Be subject to a drug screen Become a part of our team

POSITION PURPOSE: The Parts Research Analyst provides customer service for the Parts Operation Center or assigned location. This role interfaces with internal and external customers and Field Operations. Ensures all Briggs Equipment standards are adhered to and executed consistent with company direction. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 1. Provide accurate and timely customer service and support relating to parts inquiries required for order completions with internal / external customers, vendors, supplies and branches using applicable tools and established processes 2. Prepare quotes and order requests based on equipment type 3. Research, analyze and resolve parts discrepancies, to include purchases, shipments and delivery 4. Maintain accurate records of invoices and support documents across multiple interfaces 5. Enter all pertinent data into the Company's systems 6. Receive inbound calls for industrial equipment parts inquiries. 7. Perform parts research duties through web-based, adobe programs as well as hard copy manuals and microfiche 8. Performs other related duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Basic Knowledge & Competencies: * Excellent Customer Service and multi-tasking skills * High attention to detail, to include precise data entry * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work with a high sense of urgency in a dynamic, fast-paced environment * Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Previous Experience/Education: * High school degree required * 1+ year customer service and/or call center experience preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Working conditions are normal for an office environment * Ability to lift up to 20 pounds Other details * Pay Type Hourly Apply Now * Memphis, TN, USA Briggs Equipment, Inc.
