Parts Associate

TRG is seeking a Parts Associate to join our team. The Parts Associate is responsible for breaking down existing devices in order to salvage appropriate parts and catalogs those parts into inventory. They may be responsible for receiving orders and/or picking and fulfilling parts orders that come in. This is a full time opportunity (with benefits!) working Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.

Essential Functions

• Perform testing on handheld devices in company inventory
• Break down handheld devices in order to salvage component parts
• Maintain and organize salvaged parts inventory
• Work with remote vendors on ordering parts while being mindful of price and transit times
• Execute Inter-office parts inventory transfers
• Managing the parts pricing and waiting on parts workflows
• Receiving, picking and fulfilling of parts orders
• Maintain an organized and cleanly work environment
• Timely communication with vendors and colleagues

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, inventory, or related setting preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Politeness, confidence, tact, patience, and diplomacy while dealing with complex problems.
• Ability to learn basic troubleshooting techniques for handheld devices and some mechanical problem-solving skills
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and web browser. Ability to learn new software highly preferred.
• Ability to take and pass a background check
