Detailed Description:

Summary of essential job functions

  • Encourage personal and professional growth of our team to help make our company the best possible workplace

  • Drive a culture that supports and provides ongoing training for customer service teams to continuously improve product knowledge and overall customer experience

  • Help develop and actively support our performance management program(s)

  • Support cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration

  • Travel to assigned area facilities, trade shows, customer locations or events, and corporate functions,

  • Manage/mentor the customer service team to provide an outstanding customer experience

  • Ensure that "today's business is done today" in terms of completing all customer transactions and avoiding missed pick tickets, missed deliveries and/or delivery shortages.

  • Coordinate customer-service follow-up to ensure other departments, locations, and/or suppliers are fulfilling customer commitments

  • Monitor/manage lost sales

  • Support field Sales team by helping solve customer problems

  • Support Product Management in new product introductions, promotions, etc.

  • Work with other Parts Managers to ensure consistent, optimal processes, controls, metrics, and outcomes across the company (customer service, receive, put-away, pick, pack, ship, deliver, returns, inventory control, and manage team performance)

  • Ensure we have enough labor available to receive, put away, pick, pack, and either deliver or ship products to our customers

  • Ensure a clean, neat, and organized warehouse environment

  • Be responsible for the overall safety of the facility or facilities you oversee to help minimize exposures and ensure safety compliance

Ideal Candidate Attributes

  • Cross-functional, dynamic leader with a strong bias toward delivering results and providing customers with the highest level of service possible including following up on any and all open issues and driving those to completion.

  • Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment, and effective interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.

Qualification:

  • Experience in Body Parts, Suspensions, and Chassis in the heavy-duty parts industry.

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar field.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience using ERP Systems and Microsoft Office programs (Excel).

  • Have a DOT Certificate or able to pass and obtain DOT Medical Card.
