We are looking to recruit a Partnerships Account Executive based in New York City to join our inbound sales function. As member of our sales team you will manage inbound sales requests concerning bookings of Blueground properties.

What you will focus on:

  • Acquiring new partners for 6 US cities. Blueground is looking to partner up with a wide spectrum of businesses, from relocation companies to fitness centers
  • Managing relationships with existing partners. eg: organise and attend regular catch up calls and meetings
  • Implementing and overseeing full-cycle partnerships, including contracting, preparing marketing material, and generally, coordinating with departments internally and externally
  • Evaluating existing partnerships and new opportunities

What we are looking for:

  • Up to 3 years experience in partnerships / business development
  • Ability to run proper exploratory/discovery calls as well as objection handling and negotiation
  • Customer first mindset and hunter mentality
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment

VIEW JOBS 12/14/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-03-13T00:00 Account Executive, Partnerships Reporting to the VP of Partnerships, the Account Executive is responsible for managing the boutique retail partnership network as well as select key accounts; driving sales, retail merchandising, training and brand building activities. This position will assist with strategic planning and manage tactical execution of retail partnerships and associated activations; liaising with both internal stakeholders and retail partners' buying, marketing, logistics and compliance teams to ensure the business is set up to run efficiently and scale. Responsibilities: * Build monthly, quarterly, and annual business plans for boutique network and key accounts, deliver sales against and report for plan * Analyze sales at retail; ideate around sales drivers and marketing efforts to grow business * Prospect, pitch and manage new business for all three brands * Prepare project management schedule in support of launches for key accounts, communicate key dates and milestones internally * Liaise with cross functional partners in operations, logistics, planning, marketing, creative to ensure efficiency and quality of retail partner launches and ongoing account management * Develop excellent working relationships with partners' buying, marketing, PR, logistics teams * Train retailers' sales staff on as needed basis Requirements: * 3-5 years of experience in account sales or account management with retailers * Demonstrated ability to open new business at retail * Experience working with Amazon, a plus * Ability to think creatively and develop long-term plans for partners, which maximize brand awareness and profit, while minimizing channel conflict and cannibalization * Experience building out product knowledge training modules, conducting in store training with retail sales staff * Good customer and cross-functional interface capabilities; excellent presentation and influencing skills * Great communicator – loves making connections and solving problems * Respectfully aggressive negotiator * Strong organizational skills * Able to remain calm in a fast-paced and demanding environment * Passionate about female empowerment Thinx New York NY
