This is a Work At Home (WAH) position working in and around the Amarillo area. The duty station will be the selectee's home address.

Responsibilities

The individual selected for this position will:

  • Plan, develop, and coordinate the partnership agreements to ensure activities all levels are carried out, resolves problems encountered, and determines the need for renegotiation.

  • Addresses questions, concerns and issues related to current and potential partners and stakeholders.

  • Establish partnership agreements with federal, tribal, state and local governments, and/or local businesses and community groups to develop specific strategies to eliminate enumeration barriers in specific regions in support of the Decennial Census.

  • Develop presentations, give briefings, conduct meetings and promote partnerships with various governments, local businesses and community groups.

Examples of specialized experience or education sought for this opportunity may include:

GG-0301-11

EXPERIENCE: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 09 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is work experience applying analytical techniques and interpersonal relations in dealing effectively with targeted audience; and analyzing the views and opinions from organizations and developing recommendations for stimulating interest in activities.

OR

EDUCATION: Three full years of graduate education or the Ph.D., directly related to the position that provided the knowledge of speech communication; broadcast journalism; creative writing; public administration; advertising; mass communication or mass media; public relations techniques; or radio, television, and film production.

GG-0301-12:

EXPERIENCE: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 11 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is work experience conducting public affairs programs involving public information community relations activities and seeking cooperation; and presenting information to internal and external groups to inform them of program objectives and activities; and (2) ability to present information to the public including media, state, and local government officials, community businesses, and organization program officers.

EDUCATION: No substitution of education for experience is permitted.

SUMMARY Responsible for: * Analyzing billings for all State Workers' Compensation medical claims by utilizing our proprietary software StrataWare to determine appropriateness of services billed. * Making bill review processing determinations according to rules and regulations for each state jurisdiction and/or third party partner, i.e. PPO. ESSENTIAL DUTIES * Utilizes bill review skills and knowledge to evaluate medical bills and corresponding EORs for accuracy and compliance with state mandated fee schedule(s) and StrataCare business rules and practices * Reviews, analyzes, adjusts and releases queued eReview bills upon return from OCR - including successful, duplicated and/or simple PPO bills * Refers to reference library of fee schedules, CPT, ICD-9, HCPCS and other industry publications to support findings * Assists all teams as assigned with current work volumes or backlogs resulting from increased volumes or staff shortages * Proactively identifies system and/or reports bill review issues and findings to Team Lead or Supervisor * Provides the highest level of customer service for current or prospective clients of the Company, vendors, staff, business partners or visitors * Assists and cooperates with co-workers, supervisor and management; collaborates with supervisor to develop skills and knowledge * Proactively identifies problems, provides solutions and resolves promptly; escalates more complex problems to the next management level * Manages confidential client information with discretion and good judgment in accordance with department and company guidelines * Demonstrates a dependable work ethic * Performs all duties in accordance with established Company goals.
