PARTNERSHIP MANAGER

Classification: Independent Contractor

Compensation: Commission Based Role; Receives 35% of all Sales

The Partnership Manager for Visit Bellevue is responsible for overall Partner investment in Visit Bellevue programs, advertising, sponsorships, co-ops and events. He/she engages with Partners as an independent contractor to assist in the fulfillment of the mission and vision of Visit Bellevue and develop collaboration and support for Visit Bellevue, The Destination Development Plan as well as Visit Bellevue Sales, Marketing and Visitor Experience programs.

The Partnership Manager looks for innovative partner programs and initiatives to drive Visit Bellevue forward and is responsible for generating new partnerships, engaging existing partnerships developing Visit Bellevue programs and initiatives and selling co-op advertising and other programs. He/she is also responsible for the overall visibility and sales for all Visit Bellevue programs including partnerships, advertising, sponsorships, Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) program, publications, website, meeting planner guide and nurture the overall management of partner relations.

What You Will Do

  • Regularly meets with key partners, potential partners and businesses from the hospitality/tourism/visitor industry to build strong relationships with Visit Bellevue to achieve our organizational goals and destination development plan.

  • Responsible for Partnership, Publication, Sponsorship, Digital Assets, Co-op Programs and Visitor Experience Sales for Visit Bellevue.

  • Help to coordinate and execute monthly Partner orientation program to insure proper Partner onboarding, awareness, engagement and maximum return on investment from Visit Bellevue programs.

  • Work with Marketing and Communications team to create and deliver highly engaging and useful Partner information, newsletters, updates and information and other marketing or co-op related communications.

  • Attend community, business organization, and key Partner meetings and events as a representative of Visit Bellevue on an ongoing basis

  • Responsible for identifying key community events to sponsor/support and for securing Visit Bellevue or Partner attendance at those events.

What You Will Bring

  • Four-year degree in Marketing, Tourism, Business, Communications or relevant field of study.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in sales and partnership required; additional marketing and/or public relations experience a plus; tourism, travel or related industry experience a plus.

  • In-depth understanding of the Destination Development Plan, and both short-term and long-term Visit Bellevue programs, goals and priorities.

  • Excellent professional judgment and discretion.

  • Strong ability to multi-task.

  • Strong interpersonal skills & professional relationship builder and ability to think creatively and innovatively.

  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
