As a Partner Success Manager within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on a strategy to help build mindshare and adoption of our services across one of AWS's key business partners and their customers. By establishing and growing business relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with this partner, you will be responsible for helping drive top line revenue growth and overall end customer adoption with Public Sector customers. The ideal candidate has both a business background that enables them to engage at a senior executive level and a sales background that enables them to easily interact with Public Sector customers in the Government, Education and Non-Profit space. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Help manage and drive joint engagements between the partner and AWS Account Managers.

  • Work with the Country Partner Development Team in a highly collaborative operating model to help develop a strong pipeline of opportunities.

  • Serve as a key member of the Partner team in helping to define and deliver joint solution sets and supporting collateral.

  • Liaise with the Partner's field sales organization, channels and end customers to help create and drive revenue opportunities for AWS.

  • Assist in developing a strategic business development plan for target markets and ensure it is in line with the AWS strategic direction.

  • Help execute the strategic business development plan with key internal stakeholders (e.g. service teams, legal, support, etc.).

  • Understand and leverage the use of internal Amazon systems.

  • Deep understanding of the partner's capabilities and solutions that will delight customers.

  • Expand existing AWS footprint as well as drive new customer engagements with the partner to grow overall revenue with a focus on business outcomes.

  • Become a trusted member of the sales team to own deal execution with the partner, leveraging Partner programs, and coaching partners on best practices.

  • Work closely with Partner Solution Architects (PSA) and the partner's technical team to ensure partners deliver quality result.

  • Prepare and present business reviews to senior management.

  • Provide help during contract negotiations and serve as liaison to legal group.

Partner Account Managers must be an integral part of the partner's business and have a solid relationship across all the various departments and teams in the organization. The Associate Partner Account Manager must be the driving force with a solid business development mindset along with possessing entrepreneurial type skills with a relentless passion that will help expand and grow his/her assigned Partners revenue along with market share. The Associate PAM will manage key partner activities including forecasting, quota attainment, sales training, sales/opportunity management, compliance with certification requirements. Position end-to-end solutions and articulate our strategies to owners, senior management and partner personnel. Develop relationships with partner sales teams to obtain and develop leads that foster opportunities. Work closely with Juniper regional sales teams to ensure proper Channel engagement and Customer satisfaction. Coordinate regional sales operations, service, and marketing activities with local partners. Requirements: * A senior resource managing partners with direct knowledge in large technology deals, with special focus on the following domains: Routing, Switching, Security, Core, Campus & Branch, Datacenter & Cloud Services * Help partner move into strategic areas for Juniper around ecosystems in Data Center, Campus, NFV and Automation * Experience in developing sales and channel strategies, preparing proposals and quotes, and presenting networking and security products. Ability to map Juniper's value propositions into a partner's strategic priorities to create compelling events for their sales force * Contribute to the territory planning process and assume ownership for its implementation * Provide reliable partner forecasts on a monthly, quarterly and annual interval * Ability to develop and execute a joint business plan * Ability to demonstrate skills necessary for win/win negotiation of issues with peers, distributors, and partners required * Successful track record in meeting sales objectives * Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills * Desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and ability to work autonomously required * Must be self-motivated, a strong team player, and able to travel 20% of the time within assigned territory * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * College degree and 3 years sales experience in technology Other Information: * Relocation is not available for this position * Travel requirements for the position 20% Juniper Networks Herndon VA
