We are looking for an industry-savvy Senior Partner Systems Engineer. This role will team with Partner Account Managers in a pre-sales technical role, to enable and support reseller channel partners in the sale of Juniper products and solutions. In addition to technical aptitude and the ability to learn quickly and stay current in an evolving industry, the ideal candidate's interpersonal, presentation and communication skills will help to build mindshare and technical capabilities with key partners. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly competitive sales environment is essential.
Provide technical enablement to partners in the Southwestern US, including product and solution training, roadmap updates, hands-on training, and development of product demonstration capabilities.
Build and maintain strong, trusted professional relationships with technical leadership and systems engineering personnel at focus partners.
Work with partners to develop pre- and post-sales competency, maintain technical certifications, and grow confidence in selling Juniper products and solutions.
Communicate highly technical concepts to a variety of audiences, including partner sellers and principals.
Maintain a distribution list of partner technical contacts and provide regular proactive communications.
Stay up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services, as well as industry trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
A strong, successful pre-sales engineering track record (5+ years) in the data network and network security industry.
Knowledge of Juniper Enterprise solutions and product lines, and in addition to competitors' products.
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication, presentation and time-management skills.
Automation and Programming skills Python, SaltStack, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
Knowledge/experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN).
Excellent written and verbal communication, including listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
