Function: Working with the Food Security Team, the Partner Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Community Food Bank's (CFB's) food security programs working with community partners and partner agencies across sectors to optimize and support partner participation and compliance in The Emergency Food Assistance Programs (TEFAP), Commodity Senior Food Program (CSFP), Agency Market, and the donated foods programs. This includes coordinating outreach, training, and support for partner agencies, ensuring program compliance, and promoting food security programs to eligible populations. This position collaborates with multiple internal and external teams to fulfill job deliverables and includes some travel to partner agencies across CFB's 5-county service area for state, regional, and national conferences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with the Food Security Team (FTS) to review all Partner Agency Applications on a quarterly basis or as deemed necessary.

  • Responsible for addressing any ongoing troubleshooting for all partnership requirements.

  • Conducts regular on-site monitoring visits to agencies to audit and ensure compliance with Feeding America (FA), Department of Economic Security (DES), and CFB standards.

  • Follows-up with sites after audits and facilitates the resolution of any compliance issues.

  • Attends distributions as needed and communicated by the Mobile Distribution Supervisor on a regular rotation to monitor and provide support and feedback.

  • Supports all program efforts and increases enrollment to services at CFB and within the agency network.

  • Oversees all agency files and documentation in keeping with DES and FA contract standards including the tracking of contracts, civil rights training, food handlers' cards, and volunteer confidentiality forms.

  • Supports the use of technology at direct mobile distributions and maintains proxy listings when needed in collaboration with the Mobile Distribution Supervisor.

  • Sends out recall notices provided by FA to regional agency network.

  • Coordinates with the Agency team and IT to ensure agency resources on the website are accurate, standardization of audits and reporting, and program standards are being upheld across the agency network.

  • Assists planning and executing the Annual Agency Conference through committee as required by DES. Participates in relevant committees, community groups, and events.

  • Builds capacity training to ensure the sustainability of the agency network.

  • Cross-collaboration with FST including, but not limited to, database management, mobile distributions, and special projects.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge in coordinating outreach, training, and support for partner agencies, ensuring program compliance, and promoting food security programs to eligible populations.

  • Skills in attention to detail, strong customer service, and training.

  • Ability to generate and maintain an atmosphere of openness and conducive to innovation across all CFB departments and 5-county service area while supporting the CFB mission.

  • Effective time management and organizational skills.

  • Strong customer service, communication, and listening skills.

  • Ability to work with people from diverse economic, social, and political backgrounds.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.

  • One (1) year of experience in a fast-paced, complex work environment demonstrating organizational and follow-through skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, and aptitude to learn other software platforms.

  • For company insurance purposes, at least 21 years of age; possess a current Arizona Driver's License with a safe driving record.

Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered if applicable and must be directly related to the functions and body of knowledge required to successfully perform the job.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of experience in a fast-paced, complex work environment demonstrating organizational and follow-through skills.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Physical Requirements:

  • Light Work ability to exert 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
