Membership enables sites to make more money than they would have from ads and get to build a sustainable future for quality on the web.

Partnerships are at the core of what we do. Once a new partner is signed, youll work with our partners engineering and product teams to successfully integrate and maintain Scroll on their properties, and act as their primary contact for any issues, questions or ideas. Youll ensure that their partnership and business development teams are informed and consistently excited to be working with Scroll while deepening our relationships with them.

Internally youll be the voice of our publishers, acting as a conduit to bring their needs and perspective into Scroll. Youll work with business development, customer service, product, designers and engineers to strengthen our partnerships and come up with creative approaches to improving the tools we offer. Youll collaborate with people in both our New York and Portland offices, in meetings with publishers and remotely on phone calls. There may be some travel but it wont be a huge part of the job.

What youll own

  • Ensuring new partners have fully integrated and maintained the Scroll product integration
  • Providing partners the information and tools they need to succeed within the Scroll model
  • Data storytelling with partners, from owning the evolution of our dashboard tools to ongoing ad-hoc analysis required to inform and improve partner relationships
  • Engaging and upselling existing publisher partners to new Scroll opportunities

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of account management experience in media
  • Experience working with tools that require publisher integration
  • Some technical experience with web development is ideal
  • Experience working at a consumer media platform is a plus
  • Youre comfortable using a variety of account management and organizational tools.
  • Data and experimentation is close to your heart. You know how to leverage qualitative feedback and data to inform hypotheses and make decisions.
  • You love working in a small team and are comfortable with ambiguity and adapting to a constantly changing environment. Youre always looking to learn and love collaborating to make products sing.
