The Amazon Gift Card business is a rapidly growing, multi-billion dollar business which significantly contributes to the company's profitability. The Gift Card (GC) team is responsible for creating and enhancing multiple stored value products sold globally through a variety of channels, including the Amazon website, direct corporate sales and offline stores. To facilitate the continued growth of our products in the offline channel, we are looking for a Partner Integration Manager to join our team and manage integrations and technical relationships between Amazon and our distribution partners using Amazon Gift Card APIs.

This role will be responsible for providing technical and operational guidance to new partners, managing integration projects, and providing technical support to existing partners. The Partner Integration Manager will also act as a primary stakeholder in developing new API features, serving as the voice of the customer (VoC), and working closely with the broader Product and Engineering organizations to provide requirements and relevant use cases. The role requires an individual with strong competencies around ownership, process definition, technical comprehension, teamwork, innovation, and global business management.

Essential to this role is the ability to multitask in an environment of competing demands, both internal and external to the company. Applicants will be expected to give technical guidance to partners as they integrate with our systems, lead cross functional projects, address chronic system issues, provide process improvements, develop internal documentation, and contribute to a team environment. The Gift Cards Partner Integration Manager will:

  • Provide project management and technical support globally for Brick and Mortar Gift Card and Business to Business partners integrating with the Gift Card APIs

  • Work with channel managers to present the technical capabilities of the Gift Card APIs to existing and prospective partners

  • Lead cross functional projects to migrate installed client base to new technology involving technical, operations, accounting, and product management teams

  • Leverage technology and innovation to bring continuous improvement to operational processes

  • Channel partner feedback to product management, channel managers, marketing, engineering and leadership

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation supporting our products and platforms

  • Ensure best user experience for partners and document emerging platform investments

  • Provide ongoing technical support for clients who are integrated with our Gift Card platform

  • Coordinate large-scale communications to clients around payments, policies and procedures

The Senior Business Developer, International Expansion, will lead the business' efforts to launch Physical Gift Cards and Amazon Top-Up products into new territories. He or She will define the go-to-market strategy, help build and maintain relationships with key local distributors and potential offline retailer partners and clients, negotiate contracts, develop and manage opportunities, monitor projects and engage resources to launch the suite of Corporate Gift Card products successfully into new countries. The Senior Business Developer, International Expansion will collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams, spanning product management, marketing, operations, engineering, customer service, finance, accounting, tax, legal and transaction risk/fraud management. He or She will work with these groups to secure in-country retail partnerships for launch and help develop and execute against effective and efficient launch plans. This is a senior, individual contributor role that has high visibility within a dynamic, exciting team. Success in this position will require strong leadership skills, sound business acumen, excellent marketing fundamentals, first-rate analytical capabilities, superb time management skills and "big idea" creativity that utilizes Amazon's Gift Card platform to provide Amazon customers "the right Gift Card product, when and where they need it". Core responsibilities include the following: * Go-to Strategy: understand and identify customer needs in the new territories, define the right products to launch, identify and evaluate partners, generate customer interest through marketing and communication launch plan. * Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with key partners in an efficient and timely manner to allow Amazon to execute effectively against its aggressive international expansion goals. * Project Management: Manage the Corporate Gift Cards launch process, helping develop launch plans and working closely with cross-functional teams to execute against timelines effectively. Write playbooks to scale our learnings and best practices for future country launches. Design standard operating procedures and identify opportunities for automation to increase launch efficiency. Work with Product, Tech and non-tech teams to identify and remove any project blockers. * Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact for key distribution partners and their associated retailers and clients, supporting all aspects of Amazon's Corporate Gift Card business launches into new marketplaces. Internally, serve as SME and point of escalation for new teams and help them to remove blockers and drive business growth. Work cross functionally with peers globally to support training, best practices, and shared opportunities. Provide updates to senior leadership on key metrics, progress and launch status.
