The Amazon Gift Card business is a rapidly growing, multi-billion dollar business which significantly contributes to the company's profitability. The Gift Card (GC) team is responsible for creating and enhancing multiple stored value products sold globally through a variety of channels, including the Amazon website, direct corporate sales and offline stores. To facilitate the continued growth of our products in the offline channel, we are looking for a Partner Integration Manager to join our team and manage integrations and technical relationships between Amazon and our distribution partners using Amazon Gift Card APIs.
This role will be responsible for providing technical and operational guidance to new partners, managing integration projects, and providing technical support to existing partners. The Partner Integration Manager will also act as a primary stakeholder in developing new API features, serving as the voice of the customer (VoC), and working closely with the broader Product and Engineering organizations to provide requirements and relevant use cases. The role requires an individual with strong competencies around ownership, process definition, technical comprehension, teamwork, innovation, and global business management.
Essential to this role is the ability to multitask in an environment of competing demands, both internal and external to the company. Applicants will be expected to give technical guidance to partners as they integrate with our systems, lead cross functional projects, address chronic system issues, provide process improvements, develop internal documentation, and contribute to a team environment. The Gift Cards Partner Integration Manager will:
Provide project management and technical support globally for Brick and Mortar Gift Card and Business to Business partners integrating with the Gift Card APIs
Work with channel managers to present the technical capabilities of the Gift Card APIs to existing and prospective partners
Lead cross functional projects to migrate installed client base to new technology involving technical, operations, accounting, and product management teams
Leverage technology and innovation to bring continuous improvement to operational processes
Channel partner feedback to product management, channel managers, marketing, engineering and leadership
Develop and maintain technical documentation supporting our products and platforms
Ensure best user experience for partners and document emerging platform investments
Provide ongoing technical support for clients who are integrated with our Gift Card platform
Coordinate large-scale communications to clients around payments, policies and procedures
