As a Partner Integration Engineer for Google Cloud, you play a critical role in the on-boarding and continuous management of strategic resellers. You are responsible for providing architectural guidance, technical solutions, managing relationships with technical staff, and enabling essential Google Cloud partners. You will work closely with new strategic partners to evangelize the Google reseller platform and associated APIs. You will guide partners and their developers on technical solutions and approaches needed to integrate with the reseller platform. You will present roadmaps of the reseller platform to partners and strategic customers, and you will work with software engineering teams to ensure the platform is evolving to meet the dynamic needs of our partners. You are a technical expert with an entrepreneurial drive and passion for client management. You are able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints. You will continuously engage with the community of strategic partners with a goal of enabling their success through driving deeper relationships and more efficient integrations.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
Experience integrating 3rd-party API and/or maintaining REST APIs used by external clients.
Experience communicating technical concepts to various audiences.
Experience working with and managing external partners/customers
Experience with SQL and relational database design
Experience working on e-commerce systems, preferably SaaS/subscription-based products
Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as identity and access management, data protection, encryption, certificate and key management
Be a trusted technical advisor to partners and solve complex implementation challenges
Act as a liaison for the engineering and product teams to commercialize solutions with partners and customers
Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code, and technical presentations adapting to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders to expedite partner implementation and improve product serviceability
Travel regularly (up to 30%, although we also frequently use video conferencing) in-region for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities
