Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 12 years of experience as a technical consultant, technical pre-sales engineer, solution architect, or in a customer/partner-facing role.

  • Experience building or leveraging machine learning solutions and developing applications utilizing AI frameworks and methods.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

  • Experience building machine learning solutions and leveraging specific machine learning architectures (e.g., deep learning, LSTM, convolutional networks, etc.).

  • Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.

  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.

About the job

As a Partner Engineer, you will work with Partners and Partner Development Managers to grow and support the Google Cloud partner ecosystem in the domain of Generative AI and AI/ML. Partner Engineers understand the technical capabilities of our partners and are in the best position to recommend the right partner to our customers.

In this role, you will lead the effort to enable partners across technologies and solutions. You will contribute to customer adoption of Google Cloud by supporting partners, bringing the services to market faster, and create new business growth streams. You will help partners in the migration and deployment phase, ensuring they have access to Google Cloud artifacts, tools, templates, and best practices.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $181,000-$257,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work with Global Systems Integrators (GSI), Regional Systems Integrators (RSI), and Solutions Partners to design, develop, and support the implementation of AI solutions built on Google Cloud.

  • Recommend integration and migration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required for AI solutions on Google Cloud.

  • Own the technical relationship with our partners, empowering them to manage a successful pilot or proof-of-concept.

  • Help partners identify and assess customer Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine Learning (ML), or Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) opportunities to discover cloud solutions to recommend, plan, and address core market opportunities and use cases.

  • Work with executive decision-makers and key partners to increase the adoption of Google Cloud services by investing in building out their Google Cloud capability and readiness.
