Come join the Services Growth Specialist Team in One Commercial Partner organization, responsible for driving incremental growth with our Top Managed Service Providers (MSP) and Channel Development (CD) Partners as the Data specialist.

We're looking for an exceptional leader and cross-team collaborator with Data & AI market, partner, and solution area domain expertise and a proven track record of developing practices to drive consumption across services partners. Primarily centered on the objective of developing and driving net new Build-with practices for Data, this role is directly responsible for defining our Data Modernization Strategy & Execution priorities for Services partners, building net new Data focused Practices around SQL MI, Open Source DBs and COSMOS DB.

The Partner Development Manager role should demonstrate 50% partner business development expertise along with 50% technical expertise and experience in Data solution domain and is the global SME on Data & Advanced Data Services (ADS). This role reports into the Services Growth Specialist PDM Leader within OCP team organization and is focused on Build-with capability on Data and business growth linked to ADS for Top managed MSPs and CD partners on a worldwide basis.

Skills:

  • Executive maturity: Leadership with senior executives across the partner's organization and Microsoft internal stakeholder teams to drive relationships, business strategy and plans, and identify and mitigate risks to ultimately drive sales impact.

  • Proven ability to influence for impact: communicating and networking effectively within the partner's organization and Microsoft stakeholder teams.

  • Proven drive for results: by setting clear, challenging goals, and pursuing those goals with enthusiasm and passion

  • Strong cross group collaboration: drive alignment and teamwork within the partner's and Microsoft's teams in cross-segment and cross-function dimensions

  • Strategic thinking: structured planning and leadership with partner's executives and Microsoft internal stakeholder teams

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in partner development, sales, and business development in the technology industry. Worldwide scope is critical in prior roles.

  • 3+ years' experience with Hyperscale Cloud with a reasonable level of technical proficiency preferably in Data

  • Strong partner relationship management and solution development skills

  • Strong executive presence including communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort to large and small audiences.

  • Extensive experience of working with virtual teams across functions and geographies esp. field teams in country worldwide

  • Inclusive and collaborative driving teamwork and cross-team alignment

  • Problem solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources, conflict resolution, and follow through with partners.

  • MBA with an Engineering degree is preferred.
