Partner Business Manager I Essential Duties and

(Additional duties may be assigned as required)
  • Proactively work with Named SIs/MSPs/VARs/Cloud and SaaS providers to be successful with an integrated customized Go-To-Market strategy

  • Facilitate adoption and manage existing partners, in order to integrate with their current offer and services portfolio

  • Create and execute on strategies in specific customer segments and industry verticals to approach, create and articulate compelling value propositions around Armor's service

  • Ensure that Armor is the partner's preferred cyber security solution for all existing and new customers

  • Develop the partners' sales and technical teams into a productive and profitable engine for Armor security solutions

  • Build and develop a robust pipeline of partner opportunities through business, marketing and enablement planning

  • Working experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and other analytic tools to establish detailed metrics for tracking purposes

  • Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team.

Required Skills:

  • Possess partner management or business development experience in the software/technology industry

  • Consistently exceeds quota and key performance metrics.

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences.

  • Strong program management skills with a focus on delivering scalable programs supporting hundreds of customers/partners.

  • Strong technical acumen, with a demonstrated track record of driving emerging/disruptive technologies like security, infrastructure as a service, open source software, virtualization and Software as a Service delivery models.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.

Education And/Or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred)

  • Minimum 6+ years of IT or related sales experience

  • 5+ years successful Channel Management experience required

  • Successful Direct Software sales experience preferred

  • Demonstrated experience in creating and executing successful partner sales strategy

What You'll Do Manager of Partner Operations responsible for managing partner go to market sales for one of our most strategic and complex Go To Market Partners - ATT. We are seeking an experienced SPaaCH leader who understands Cisco's GTM motion with our service providers and using this knowledge to help us navigate this highly complex partner. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales leadership background and the ability to work comfortably with executives in partner organizations, Cisco management and the Partner senior executive team. Pervious SPaaCH experience is a valuable skill set and deep knowledge of ATT and the SP Market is highly desirable. Understanding utility pricing models (MSLA), global SP sales motions, knowledge of how SP's represent managed services in their market and how we leverage their strengths with Cisco's strengths. Also, an ability to work with ATT understanding that they represent one of Cisco's largest customers as well as being one of our largest partners and how to navigate this complex dynamic is critical. Who You'll Work With A working knowledge of SP Managed services and SPaaCH sales processes are essential, as is the ability to develop and execute a business plan, manage Sr. executive relationships, lead a national partner team, and work in partnership with the ATT SP Direct service creation team. This position will manage a sales team of national partner account managers. This person is responsible for the cumulative quota of all team members and reports to the Operations Director. Who You Are Candidates for this role should be able to: * Develop scalable, sustainable plan and practice that impact growth of partner revenue and profits. * Collaborate with channel, service provider and extended teams to develop a unified strategy to grow Cisco's infrastructure, architecture and managed service sales. * Have a deep understanding of how to use Cisco technology to help drive ATT's networks and how this positively impacts their profit margins. * Understanding of Cisco's profitability programs and how to articulate these benefits to ATT. * Develop and lead a strong team of Partner account managers * Ability to balance strategic sales and business development activities with tactical day to day partner requirements * Understand "solution" sales models * Integrate partner's vision and strategy with Cisco's vision and strategy to grow and sustain mutually profitable revenue * Demonstrate strong leadership and influence skills * Understand the competitive environment * Develop and market the incremental value of the Channel partner * Create and execute a comprehensive strategic business plan * Ability to exceed financial targets/goals/metrics Skills Required: * Strong leadership, management, communications and operational skills * Solid understanding of SPaaCH sales, engineering, product management, product marketing * Good leadership and conflict resolutions skills * Strong negotiating and influencing skills * Ability to engage at the executive level of all organizations * Knowledge of Cisco and Service Provider Market * Strong business acumen Requirements: * Candidates for this role will have a minimum 5 years of channel sales management experience. * Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred.-Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Must have good listening and presentation skills. * Ability to participate as a team member. * US Passport is required * Ability to work off hours in support the business * Travel is required 40% of the time * Prior management experience is a plus.
