The Manager of Partner and Product Implementation will manage the implementation of Banking as a Service strategic partnerships for the Direct Banking Solutions Business Unit within Sterling National Bank. Scope of the implementation manager role includes planning, project management, reporting, and communications. The incumbent must have an excellent understanding of best-practices regarding process, tools, applications and approaches to effectively manage bank product and partner implementations. This person is responsible for driving the successful implementation of the implementation process from contract-close date to go-live date; ensuring each phase of the project is well-managed, efficient, meets requirements, and results in successful onboarding. This incumbent is also responsible for partner oversight, key risk management controls and reporting.

The incumbent of this role must demonstrate strong teamwork skills and possess an aptitude for managing all phases of onboarding a new partner. This position must work under pressure and serve as the end to end project manager in collaborations with cross-functional teams.

  • Produce & Maintain detailed client-level project plans, launch timelines & calendars. Provide regular internal communications with status updates of progress and any change to timelines or deliverables. Take ownership of outstanding deliverables and ensure they are captured per the project plan.

  • Manage ongoing operational relationship management. Ensure day-to-day operations are running successfully.

  • Conduct periodic reviews and establish operational reporting. Facilitate ongoing issue tracking, response and resolution.

  • Manage customized project plans for individual client implementations. Develop functional requirements documents to capture details needed to launch successful partnerships. Diligently maintain change-control documents and provide context on impacts to timeline.

  • Establish key risk management controls and practices, working closely with enterprise risk and audit functions to fulfill.

  • Perform Quarterly reporting to provide performance metrics and create reports for enterprise committee presentations.

  • Coordinate monthly partner touch point meetings to review results, identify issues and remediate accordingly.

  • Prepare go-live documentation including reports, oversight and communication protocols.

  • Capture cross-functional requirements and bridge across IT/Digital, legal, risk, product, marketing, compliance and other functional teams to ensure successful onboarding/implementation

  • Perform all required activities for the successful onboarding of partners, implementation of reporting and implementation of oversight protocols

  • Remove internal and/or client friction in a effort to accelerate partners return on their investment

  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures

Who We Want

  • 7 years of experience in retail banking with a solid understanding of bank products and operations

  • Candidates with advanced degrees (Associates, Bachelor's, and/or Master's) preferred, yet a High School diploma or GED is required. Candidates with some combination of coursework and experience, are eligible for consideration

  • Experience in Financial Services industry. FinTech experience a plus

  • Project management and launch experience, directly related to payments, credit cards, and/or deposit products

  • Self-starter with strong initiative and drive to complete tasks quickly, efficiently with the highest quality. Know our customers, their challenges, and how they deal with those challenges today (including through competitive products)

  • Possess detail orientation and aptitude for reporting

  • Hands on project plan implementation experience. Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done.

  • Great Communication Skills - Strong communications, both verbally and written. Ability to influence others and establish/maintain collaborative relationships.

  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with cross functional teams.

  • Excellent organization and planning skills ability to put processes in place to allow department to realize more efficiencies.

The Consumer Product Manager will contribute to the key objectives of the Consumer Product team. This individual will have a working knowledge of retail banking products/solutions and will partner with members of the Product team to ensure client satisfaction in regard to products, marketplace competitiveness, and compliance with Federal and State banking regulations. This position will be engaged in product activities including assisting in the development of promotional products, maintaining client facing material (e.g. disclosures, intranet/website updates), and client issue resolution. Operational Product Management: * Project involvement across multiple key initiatives * Participation in vendor and technical meetings * Help to define, initiate and coordinate product technology requests. Client issue resolution * Assist in the development of test scripts/plans, etc. * Work on Fiserv/vendor related items and releases as it relates to product initiatives. * Responsible for running needed reports for product analysis or audit. Disclosure Implementation: * Work with Legal and Compliance to ensure all disclosures for new products, enhancements and promotions are created and up to date. * Ensure that all the latest disclosures are tracked along with approvals to assist with audits and inquiries. * Work with Technology to ensure that all disclosures are properly built and work in the account opening system. Product Research: * Serve as a contributor in the gathering of market intelligence and other data to support new product recommendations and business cases. This will include but is not limited to product discovery, defining product requirements and work with the pricing team to ensure pro-forma development. Client Experience resolution: * Involvement in Client Experience projects and activities. * Engaged in the research and response to banker questions/inquiries on client issues, inclusive of the digital offerings. * Work to directly resolve issues with the partner teams to develop a solution. * Promotional Product Management: * Participate in the strategy and requirements for promotional products. * Partner to ensure promotional products are implemented quickly and accurately. * Assist in the development of marketing materials, internal job aids and communications that are created for promotions. Update Product Materials (internal & external): * Collaborate with Marketing to assist in developing product collateral such as product descriptions, presentations, sales tools and training in compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.
