Part-Time Temporary Summer Groundsperson

Highland Community College is accepting applications for a part-time temporary summer Groundsperson for up to 28 hours per week to perform a variety of landscaping and grounds maintenance duties on the college campus. The qualified individual must possess a valid driver's license and have skill in operating or the ability to learn how to operate grounds related equipment and tools.

The duties for this position include, but are not limited to general maintenance of campus grounds including operating and maintaining lawn mowers and string trimmers, weeding and applying mulch around trees and flower beds, tree and shrub trimming, and litter clean up and trash collection. Potential candidates must have the ability to work outdoors in all kinds of weather and be at least 16 years of age. Schedule may be flexible. This position requires a criminal background check.
