We are searching for a new member of the Meijer family! When you join us as a Food Clerk, you will provide customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. What will you be doing?

• Build rapport with vendors

• Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.

• Respond to vendor questions in an effective manner.

• Assist with unloading trucks

• Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.

• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers.

• This position is applicable to the Grocery Receiving area.

• This position generally will start at 5:00 am

• This position will require Meijer forklift certification

• This position will work with vendors and Meijer delivery drivers to receive products into the building as well as unloading trucks either by hand pallet jack and/or the operation of a forklift truck.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
