Position Description:
Washtenaw Community College (WCC) is establishing a pool of qualified candidates to be considered when part time Transportation (TT) support staff is needed. Needs may become available prior to or during each semester. Upon successful submission of your application and required documents, you will be considered for future part time opportunities on a per semester basis. Be a part of our talented Transportation support team!Position Summary:Part Time Transportation

• Support Staff I assist the Department Chair, Faculty and Classified Faculty for setup and teardown of lab assignments for student completion.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:• Assist with maintaining a safe and clean laboratory working environment. Report all non-working or unsafe equipment.
  
  Be familiar with OSHA and SDS requirements.• Assist with laboratory activities as assigned by the department's instructors-prepare/breakdown laboratories.• Assist with promotional events, as directed.• Regular attendance on campus is required for this position.• Other duties as assigned.Hours/Schedule: Schedule can vary- days, nights and/or weekends up to a maximum of 19.5 hours per week.Physical Demands: Capable of lifting and transporting at least 50 pounds.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:• Must be18 years or older.• High School diploma or GED equivalent.• Ability to communicate effectively, manage multiple tasks, work effectively with others, and provide support to students and staff.• Must be available to work days, nights and/or weekends.• Ability to lift and transport at least 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:
Additional Preferred Qualifications:• Familiar with OSHA and SDS requirements.
