Job Description:

CityU School of Business and Management is seeking qualified faculties at the Undergraduate, Graduate, and Doctoral levels in the following areas:

  • Finance

  • Accounting

  • Marketing

  • Economics

  • Project Management

  • Supply Chain

  • Data Analytics

  • Artificial Intelligence (Business-related)

Part-time Teaching Faculty at City University of Seattle have three key responsibilities:

  • Striving for excellence in teaching and learning,

  • Fostering student development, and

  • Maintaining currency in their profession.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.   • Master's degree in business-related fields. Doctoral degree preferred.

  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in at least one of the areas listed above.

  • Instructional experience in the business field.

  • Passion for learning and teaching, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in the field.

  • Ability to communicate analytical concepts in a tangible and intuitive way.

  • Proficient in teamwork and coordination as part of a globally dynamic and diverse team.

  • Experience with online teaching and learning.

  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to relate to and communicate with diverse students, faculty and staff.

  • Ability to present a professional image on behalf of the school and City University of Seattle.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and learning management systems in support of quality teaching and learning.

Salary Information:

Part-time Teaching Faculty salary is based on the level of course (graduate, undergraduate, doctoral) and the number of course credits (1-5), ranging from $2205-$4500 per course.

Online and/or onsite in Seattle.
