Your Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Student-Advanced Engineering for John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group located in Fargo, North Dakota, you will...
Work closely with engineering personnel to support Advanced Engineering projects: experiments, testing, and data analysis
Document results in a neat and organized fashion
Operate and maintain analytical laboratory equipment to support Advanced Engineering development and analysis work
Perform other technical tasks as directed by a supervisor or mentor
Assemble and disassemble electronic modules and fixtures using hand tools
Read and understand the operating instructions of laboratory equipment
This position is available to students on immigration visas.
What Skills You Need
Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in the Sciences, Engineering, or related fields; advanced degrees encouraged to apply
Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. accredited university
Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
Graduation date of May 2025 or later
Ability to work 15-31 hours/week during the academic year and summer semester
Ability to work up to 40 hours over the summer
Must be able to commute to the work location in Fargo, North Dakota, on a daily basis year-round
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to interpret data and self-direct accordingly
