You are the dynamic, professional Skill Builder we are looking for. Your expertise and passion is what our patients need at our Addictions and Recovery Center located in West Lafayette, Indiana for 7a-7p. This is a part time position that works 20 hours per week. You will be integral in providing behavioral therapy, intensive rehabilitation, wellness education and post-treatment support to individuals battling substance use disorders. How Skill Builder's will change lives:
Counsel, monitor, and support individuals experiencing substance use and mental illness disorders
Evaluate, prepare, and implement case management plans
Organize and conduct client skills training and education groups
Assist with maintaining 24/7 staff coverage, including working other shifts as needed
Assess and monitor residents' behaviors and intervene as appropriate
Crisis intervention
Prepare and maintain written case records, reports and forms, including case follow-up and closing
Maintain Meridian Health Services standards, policies, procedures, and regulations in accordance with local, state and federal laws and with ethical standards of profession
We value your Skill Builder experience:
High school diploma or its equivalent with 2 years paid behavioral healthcare experience or equivalent college coursework toward a human services or health related degree required at minimum
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
Two (2) years' experience working in addictions treatment field preferred
Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, driving record meeting company policy, and proof of insurance required.

HRSAs Bureau of Health Workforce has launched a new program the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment and Recovery Loan Repayment Program (STAR LRP) to expand support combating the nations opioid crisis. STAR LRP provides up to $250,000 to eligible health professionals, including bachelors-level SUD counselors and behavioral health paraprofessionals, in exchange for a six-year, full-time service commitment.
