Part-Time Summer Nurse
Acton-Boxborough Community Education seeks a qualified nurse to work at our Summer Day Program (SDP) during the weeks of July 15-26 (with potential for additional dates). The primary role will be to support a student with physical disabilities but while present the nurse will support any medical needs of children and staff.
The SDP is a camp-like program that runs for 7 weeks from late June through early August. Daily hours are 8:45 am to 3:45 pm. Weekly enrollments range from 60-100+ with approximately 30 staff members. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic and energetic and enjoys working with children in a busy and positive environment.

This is an hourly position, rate to be negotiated.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee care of a physically disabled student with special health needs.
Provide direct services to children and staff, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Current licensure as a Massachusetts Registered Nurse.
Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certifications.
Experience using a Hoyer Lift preferred.
