Part-Time School Bus Driver

Job Summary Tallulah Falls School is seeking an experienced and reliable part-time Bus Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations on established routes.

Duties: Safely operate a bus following a set schedule and route Ensure the bus is in good working condition before and after each trip Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior Communicate effectively with passengers and address any concerns or inquiries Keep accurate records of passenger counts, mileage, and fuel consumption Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Possession of a commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements Ability to pass a background check, DOT physical exam, drug and alcohol testing Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance checks on the bus Ability to drive safely in various weather conditions and traffic situations Proficient in reading and writing for route maps and communication purposes Experience working with children is a plus Knowledge of behavior management techniques for passenger interactions Registered with the Drug & Alcohol Clearing House for CDL Drivers This position offers competitive pay and the opportunity to make a positive impact on passengers' daily commutes.
