Avenue, a fashion retailer specializing in plus size women's apparel, is looking for Part-time Sales Associates for our Bakersfield, CA market.

Maintain high quality customer service through greeting, selling, and servicing all customers
Meet all store performance goals
Adhere to all company policies and procedures; maintain company standards
Assist with opening and closing procedures, execution of new merchandise, floorsets, promos, markdowns, signage
Maintenance of fitting rooms
High school diploma
Minimum of 6 months retail experience preferred
Strong communication, selling and customer service skills
Pleasant demeanor and ability to interact with co-workers, customers and management
Be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Be a team player and possess a great fashion sense
Be able to complete documentation and register functions
The ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including but not limited to: ability to utilize 4-foot, 6-foot and 8-foot ladders; ability to handle cartons weighing up to 50 lbs.
