General Summary
In collaboration with the Success Coaching Director, the Retention and Success Coach Specialists play a pivotal role in supporting academic success, persistence, retention, and degree completion for incoming and returning CCC students pursing a certificate, diploma, and/or degree. Retention and Success Coach Specialists accomplish this by providing direct service and support to students at CCC.
They also monitor and track student academic progress. All available tools are used including meetings, phone, email, etc., to connect and build rapport with students. The Retention and Success Coach Specialists will perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with college policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

Collaborates with other campus support offices and assists students in connecting with campus resources.

Provides ongoing assistance to students through follow-up appointments and emails regarding academic coaching and academic recovery.

Communicates with the Director of Success Coaching frequently in person, via email, phone calls, and/or WebEx to discuss Retention Team and Success Coaching projects.
