What will you be doing?

As our Retail Associate, you will be the primary point of contact at our Jupiter Retail Store. Each day, you will provide friendly, upbeat service to customers and colleagues accessing the store- in person, by phone and online.

After training, you will have an opportunity to regularly demonstrate your knowledge of our products and merchandise by answering questions, helping customers find the right items to purchase, and collaborating on fun new floor displays or promotions! Our retail offerings impact each Girl Scout's personal experience - for example, by giving them a chance to buy uniforms, vests and sashes to proudly show off the badges and patches they have earned on their journey to building courage, confidence and character - how great is that?!

Every day, you will operate a point-of-sale system to ring up purchases for in-store customers, maintain proper stock levels on the sales floor, and keep your supervisor informed of trends and happenings. You will also process phone and online orders using established shipping procedures and monitor inventory levels. On occasion, you may have the opportunity to travel within our six-county Council jurisdiction to staff a "pop-up shop" at special Girl Scout events, programs and activities.

To thrive in this role, you must be obsessed with customer satisfaction, have the ability to utilize point-of-sale, inventory management and similar systems both quickly and accurately; and be comfortable working independently within a collaborative environment.

The Retail Associate reports to the Director of Retail Sales and joins a team consisting of one other part-time Retail Associate who works in our Broward County store.

• A candidate who possesses outstanding customer service and conflict resolution skills and knows when to escalate issues for resolution.
• A Retail Associate that excels at utilizing point-of-sale, inventory management and similar systems quickly and accurately.
• A tech-savvy candidate who is comfortable working at an organization that is transitioning to a paperless environment.
• A Retail Associate who has excellent time management skills who can plan, organize, and prioritize work.

What else will you need?

• High School Diploma, or equivalent experience required.

• One-year recent, relevant experience required. Retail experience strongly preferred.

• Bilingual (Spanish or French) preferred.

What will you get?

The hiring range for this position is $14.00 - $15.00 hourly.

This is a non-exempt, store-based Retail Associate position located in Jupiter, FL. Hours are typically worked Tuesday - Thursday and the first and third Saturday of the month, for a total of 25-27 hours per week.
