JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Spatial Ecology and Environmental Data Sciences (SEEDS) is seeking a data scientist to assist with remote sensing data processing. The data scientists will organize, process, and visualize multi-source remote sensing data, including LiDAR, hyperspectral, and multi-spectral remote sensing. The main applications are tree species classification and ecological modeling. A Ph.D. degree, or equivalent experience and education, is required. Ability to program using R and Python is required.
