Responsible for distribution and handling of newspaper products to carriers, haulers, retailers and consumers. This position may also assist with delivery of downtown routes, run shortage, deliver missed newspapers, perform retail merchandise checks and disseminate information to circulation management regarding any carrier or product issues.

Conduct weekly TMC product verifications by following the established verification process. Distribute point-of-purchase materials as directed. Assist with training of product handlers and coordinators as needed. Expected to meet company attendance goals, relate well with others and perform according to company expectations.

Responsible for personal safety and completion of periodic safety training courses. Must maintain a professional, courteous manner when dealing with contractors and customers. Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

High school graduate or equivalent. Good time management skills with the ability to perform assigned task efficiently and safely.

Ability to communication with contractors, co-workers, company staff, retailers and customers. Ability to work varied days, hours and shifts from week to week including weekends and holidays as needed. Ability to work and drive in all weather conditions.

Ability to effectively receive and relay information and instructions. Minimum age of 18 years, a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, a good driving record and a reliable vehicle are requirements necessary to perform these duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PROCESS RESPONSIBILITIES * Work collaboratively with team members to ensure daily Pharmacy production goals are accurately met including completing additional duties as may be assigned by Pharmacy leadership. * Assemble medication orders through the use of automated, semi-automated and manual assembly systems * Prepare and dispense scripts daily by reviewing orders on computer screen and filling as indicated. Total shift production may include up to 15,000 scripts on a heavy volume day * Replenish pills for automated systems * Hand count pills and measure liquids * Label scripts by scanning the product, and applying printed label on the bottle/package * Include special directions to accompany scripts * Perform basic computer troubleshooting * Clean and maintain automated prescription processing equipment * Stock inventory on shelves * Perform well counts in RxIMS as prompted by system. * Pull and process out of date product per SOP * Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of Personal Health Information (PHI) as required by HIPAA * Maintenance and upkeep of facility * Process dead stock returns in an accurate and timely manner. * Other duties as assigned. Receiving Duties * Receive inventory; check delivery for accuracy compared to invoices * Input receiving information into system * Stage inventory by breaking out the inventory into sections for stocking * Check line by line receiving * Stock inventory * Return excess inventory to H-E-B Warehouse or to vendors such as Cardinal depending on the origin of the delivery * Contact H-E-B warehouse or vendor if inventory is short * Prepare digital drug imaging for Rx system by taking a picture of medication and uploading it into the computer system for Pharmacists to verify prescription accuracy. * Maintenance and upkeep of facility * Process dead stock returns in an accurate and timely manner. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION PREFERRED * High school diploma or equivalent and must be at least 18 years of age with State of Texas certification as Pharmacy Technician * 1-2 years previous retail experience preferred; pharmacy experience strongly preferred * Mathematical skills including calculating measurements * Strong team orientation, willing to pitch in at any moment for any reason. * Experience working in a fast paced environment * Must be a self-starter, and be able to work with little direct supervision * Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities * Must be able to work rotating shifts to possibly include weekends; must be flexible to the needs of the business * Welcomes working in a team oriented environment and is open to cross-training * Must be able to stand long amounts of time (up to twelve hours) * Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds * The work environment is fast paced, demanding, requires detailed work and precision under stress. * May be required to stay past scheduled shift in order to complete daily production in the event of systems failure or production downtime.
