We are currently looking for a caring and energetic Preschool Teacher to join our team. If you have a passion for working with children, are dedicated to providing the best education and care to your students, work collaboratively, and want to learn and grow, we want you to be a part of our team.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Create, manage and participate in a variety of learning environments and activities that provide opportunities for students to develop to their fullest potential and achieve their learning objectives.

  • Create and deliver lesson plans, implement school curriculum, and assess developmental needs of students.

  • Maintain a healthy and safe environment.

  • Communicate positively with students, parents, and staff.

  • Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school, and collective/individual interest of its staff and student body.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Two (2) year degree in Early Childhood Education required or High School diploma (equivalent GED) coupled with life experience equivalent. Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

  • Meets minimum preparation and experience required for certification as an Early Childhood Education Teacher. Complies with all state education and licensing standards, and maintains validation of credentials for the position (i.e. professional development).

  • Previous experience as an Early Childhood Education Teacher, in a licensed preschool or early development center.

  • Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

(www.connectingbehavior.com) has openings for Behavioral Technicians/ABA Therapists to work 1:1 with students with an Autism diagnosis in the child's homes and in our clinic. This is a part-time position. See further details below. An ideal applicant would have a minimum of 1-year experience implementing ABA programs. Preference given to candidates pursuing his or her certification as a BCBA or BCaBA. Applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field (ABA, Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, Speech Pathology etc.). We provide in-home and clinic based services focusing on the principles of Verbal Behavior and Applied Behavior Analysis to children ages 2-12. Skills we work on include but are not limited to: language and communication building, play skills, adaptive living skills, and toilet training. All therapists are supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on a weekly basis. This role requires a high degree of self-discipline as a supervisor is not always on-site. Employees are expected to arrive on time, remain professional and positive with the child and families at all times and communicate clearly with his or her supervisor should any issue or concerns arise. Applicants pursuing their BCBA or BCaBA certificates can receive supervision hours that comply with the BACB requirements free of charge. Registered Behavioral Technician training and credentialing is also offered.
