General Responsibilities
Mathematics Instructor: The successful candidate will have an ability to teach college-level mathematics, focusing primarily on introductory mathematics courses including Precalculus, along with co-requisite sections for developmental learners.
The ideal candidate would also be able to teach one or more upper level math courses, in multivariable calculus, differential equations, statistics and computer programming. All teaching positions at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy require computer literacy, excellent written and oral communication skills, and an understanding of the Academy's unique mission.
Qualifications and Requirements
Hold a Master's Degree in Mathematics
Able to teach developmental level mathematics courses.
Demonstrated commitment to support student learning and to promote student success.
Excellent computer skills and oral and written communication skills
