CSAAC's Community School of Maryland is in Brookeville, Maryland.

Position Summary

We are looking for a PE/Health Education Teacher Contractor part time to provide services to our autistic students.

• Write lesson plans aligned to IEP goals.

• Create materials.

• Teach 8 thirty-minute Health Education classes / adapted Health Education classes per week.

• Teach 8 thirty-minute PE classes / adapted PE classes per week.

We have 8 classrooms total, and each classroom requires a 30-minute session for physical education and health lessons.

The sessions can be scheduled Monday through Friday between 8:30 am to 4 pm.

This position requires you to be on-site at the Brookeville campus.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical and/or Health Education, Master's preferred, from an accredited college or university.

• Minimum one (1) year teaching experience.

• MD State Dept. of Education (MSDE) certification. (Must have one certification in either health or PE and be willing to get the second certification within the timeframe given by the Director of Education).
