Job Title: Part-Time Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider

Location: Wee Care Pediatrics, Layton Utah

Shift: Weekends and Evenings

Wee Care Pediatrics, a well-established and growing pediatric practice, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in Layton, Utah. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a passion for providing high-quality care to children and their families. We welcome new graduates and experienced candidates, and while experience in pediatrics or a related field is preferred, it is not required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide primary preventative and acute care to pediatric patients ranging from newborns to adolescents

• Perform physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, and prescribe medications as appropriate

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory and imaging studies

• Educate patients and their families on wellness and disease prevention

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to provide comprehensive care to patients

• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

• Active DEA or ability to obtain one

• Experience in pediatrics or a related field is preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with patients and families

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to document accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records

• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
