What our Part-Time hiring process is like:

While every position is different, our part-time hiring process is typically a two-step process, sometimes more depending on the nature of the role. After you apply, your resume will be reviewed by our hiring manager for that particular role.

After interviews have been conducted, candidates whom the hiring manager selected will be contacted by our Talent Acquisition team. Candidates who are not selected to move forward will be contacted via email. We would love to call 100% of the candidates, however we typically interview well over 250 candidates during this part-time hiring week, and we want to give every candidate the decision as soon as possible.

This position will be working out of the Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, FL.

A quick summary about the Part-Time Osceola Magic Replay Operator role:

The Replay Operator will operate the instant replay decks (Ross Mira) and recall instant replays as directed by the show Director during Osceola Magic games at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, FL. Assist in the execution of the event script, as assigned, assuring all event elements and corporate sponsorship obligations are fulfilled while enhancing the overall live sporting event atmosphere. Games are also simulcast via web stream and/or broadcast partner.

What the position will be responsible for:

• Operate replay decks (Ross Mira) and recall replays as directed by the show Director.

• Organize and maintain replay archive during event.

• Create melts for play back and archiving purposes.Full game melt (10 minutes, both teams - multiple looks per basket)

• Create event clips for mobile, web and other use as directed.

• Generate highlight packages for internal and external clients post event as needed.

• Halftime/Post-game roll outs and Home/Away Highlights (all scored baskets)

• Assist department in maintaining high level of event production.

• Maintain operation of Ross Mira systems, including pre-game setup and testing and post-game system set up as directed by EIC.

• Facilitate Referee Replay Reviews with direct headset communication to Refs at scorer's table.

• Assist in post-game archiving and content organization.

• Report any operational issues immediately to EIC and Control Room Senior Manager.

• Assist in the technical strike of the Broadcast Technology Equipment, including but not limited to the radio equipment, camera equipment, and scorer's table as determined by the EIC and Control Room Senior Manager.

• Maintain accurate up-to-date availability and information on ACStaff.com.

• All other duties as assigned.

What is required for the role:

• College degree preferred or equivalent experience.

• 2 years minimum of broadcast/live video production experience required.

• 2 years replay operation experience strongly preferred.

• Employee must be able to communicate effectively and excel in a energetic and fast-paced environment.

• Ability to take direction without follow up.

Physical requirements

• Position requires the ability to effectively run the instant replay decks as designed including the ability to talk, hear and see clearly.

• Position requires the ability to sit up to five hours without a break.
